Abstract
⺠Relation between reproductive efficiency and food resource in Triatoma infestans. ⺠We examined if females fed on birds or mammals show different reproductive parameters. ⺠The number of matings and fecundity increased with the quantity of blood ingested. ⺠Females fed on mammal showed an increase in reproductive success. ⺠This study confirm the efficiency and vectorial capacity of this species.
