Abstract
▶ We investigated tuberculosis in cattle at 11 farms. ▶ An overall prevalence was 7.6%. ▶ Frequency analysis showed an association age, calving and milk production. ▶ Logistic regression analysis showed association of age, calving, milk production, the presence of sheep and total animals at the farm. ▶ We concluded that 100% herds had tuberculous animals with age, calving, milk production and lactation length being stronger risk factor, while sheep has protective effect.
