Abstract
⺠The endemic foci of human trichinellosis are mainly located in southwestern China. ⺠Pork still is the predominant source of outbreaks of human trichinellosis. ⺠Game meat is another source of trichinellosis outbreaks. ⺠The first outbreak of trichinellosis in China imported from Laos in December 2006.
