Treatment coverage survey after a school-based mass distribution of mebendazole: Kampot Province, Cambodia

► We conducted a survey to validate mebendazole coverage and assess water and sanitation conditions. ► Reported treatment coverage were significantly higher than the surveyed coverage. ► The majority of the population lack adequate sanitation but have access to protected water sources. ► School-based deworming programs are a successful strategy but they miss non-enrolled children.
