Abstract
⺠A novel molecular approach for the reliable quantification of both HHV-6A and B DNA load in different types of biological samples. ⺠The design ensures specific quantification of both viruses in case of mixed infections. ⺠Both assays are multiplexed with the calibrator system developed to control PCR artifacts.
