Abstract
⺠Bacterially expressed TriMV coat protein (CP) was purified as a soluble native form. ⺠Polyclonal antibodies produced against in vitro expressed TriMV CP in rabbits. ⺠Contrary to other viruses, TriMV antibodies reacted positively with native virions in DAS-ELISA. ⺠In DAS- and DAC-ELISA, antibodies specifically and sensitively detected TriMV in crude sap. ⺠Potential to develop high-throughput diagnostic methods for TriMV.
