Abstract
⺠A simple methodology for achieving repeatable and complete inactivation of HIV. ⺠A photoactive PA-DAPYa can completely inactivate HIV reverse transcriptase. ⺠HIV can be inactivated by PA-DAPYa when irradiated with non-microbicidal UV light. ⺠Large scale inactivation of HIV viral particles in suspension for use in vaccination.
