Abstract
► A method was developed for titer estimation of measles, mumps and rubella viruses in supernatants. ► The method is based on quantitative TaqMan real-time RT-PCR (qPCR-RT). ► The qPCR-RT assay was compared with the 50% cell culture infective dose (CCID50) assay. ► A significant correlation between the methods was found for a certain period after virus inoculation.
