Abstract
⺠Generated and fully characterized a monoclonal antibody (mAb4) against Enterovirus 71 (EV71). ⺠Linear epitope of mAb 4 targets the N-terminal region of VP1 capsid protein of EV71. ⺠mAb 4 can cross-react with all eleven representative strains of EV71 but not CA16. ⺠Potential application for identification of EV71 infection.
