Rapid genotyping of carcinogenic human papillomavirus by loop-mediated isothermal amplification using a new automated DNA test (Clinichip HPV™)

► The Clinichip HPV test provides genotyping of all 13 carcinogenic HPV types rapidly. ► The assay time is only 2.5 h. ► In women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse, the detection rate of carcinogenic HPV was 95.7%. ► This new assay is comparable to PCR-amplified DNA sequencing using 13 type-specific primers. ► The Clinichip HPV test is a promising new clinical test for carcinogenic HPV genotyping.
