Abstract
► A one-step, real-time RT-LAMP assay was developed for detection of HAstV. ► Positive detection by HAstV RT-LAMP can be completed within 20 min. ► The detection limit of the RT-LAMP is comparable with rRT-PCR (102 copies/tube). ► There is no cross-reaction with other gastroenteritis viruses. ► The quantification of viral load in stool specimens can be determined.
