Abstract
⺠A duck enteritis virus was isolated and adapted in chicken embryo fibroblast culture from the State of Kerala, India. ⺠The UL 30 gene of duck enteritis virus was cloned successfully and expressed from a bacterial prokaryotic system. ⺠A recombinant UL30 antigen based single serum dilution ELISA was developed for serological diagnosis of duck viral enteritis infection.
