Abstract
► FTDRP is a commercial multiplex real-time RT-PCR assay for 16 respiratory viruses. ► The FTDRP assay was compared with in-house singleplex real-time RT-PCR assays. ► Overall, the FTDRP and in-house assays performed comparably, with some exceptions.
