Abstract
⺠D29 phages were first purified by ammonium sulphate and polyethylene glycol 8000. ⺠Phages precipitated by PEG were separated by rinsing the precipitate repeatedly. ⺠D29 phages were loaded on the CIM monolithic column for further purification. ⺠The liquid chromatography substituted conventional CsCl gradient centrifugation. ⺠This method is useful for purification of large quantities of phages.
