Abstract
► D29 phages were first purified by ammonium sulphate and polyethylene glycol 8000. ► Phages precipitated by PEG were separated by rinsing the precipitate repeatedly. ► D29 phages were loaded on the CIM monolithic column for further purification. ► The liquid chromatography substituted conventional CsCl gradient centrifugation. ► This method is useful for purification of large quantities of phages.
