Abstract
⺠A microarray assay was developed for the detection of viruses infecting grapevine. ⺠cDNA was directly labelled using aminoallyl or 3D dendrimer methods and compared. ⺠Oligonucleotides between 27 and 75 base in length were evaluated and compared. ⺠Threshold levels were based on the ratio between viral specific and 18s rRNA controls. ⺠Results demonstrate the potential to detect plant RNA viruses without amplification.
