Abstract
⺠IL28B genotype is related to spontaneous or treatment-induced HCV clearance. ⺠A real-time PCR method for IL28B genotyping was developed using small DNA quantities. ⺠DNA from invasive and non-invasive, fresh and archival samples could be genotyped. ⺠IL28B genotype prevalence was consistent with data from Caucasian populations.
