Abstract
⺠This HPV mRNA hybrid-capture assay has use in HPV transcription studies. ⺠The analytical performance for in vitro RNA and cultured cells was satisfactory. ⺠Sample size and no longitudinal arm limited the clinical assessment of assay. ⺠Cellular heterogeneity affects the composite mRNA ratio of samples. ⺠Cell collection by passive adsorption was useful for cervical samples.
