Abstract
⺠A replicon vaccine vector system for Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) was developed. ⺠The usefulness of JEV DNA-based replicons and PIPs as vaccines is demonstrated. ⺠Sera with JEV replicon-based vaccines give partial protection against lethal JEV infection in weanling mice.
