Abstract
ⶠViral RNA retrieved by RT-PCR from nitrocellulose membranes following immunoassay. ⶠTissue blot immunoassay improved by Triton X-100 to remove green plant sap color. ⶠNitrocellulose membranes are effective for archiving plant RNA viruses. ⶠNitropure nitrocellulose compares to FTA Cards for RT-PCR recovery of plant viral RNA. ⶠDirect sequencing of amplicons for virus species/strain identification.
