Abstract
⺠We have found that A. perccotti differ from A. progenetica, A. stenothyrae and A. amnicolae by the absence of progenesis. ⺠These differences are sufficient to establish A. perccotti as a new species, which represents the genus Asymphylodora. ⺠Our molecular data on 28S rDNA partial sequences indicate that A. perccotti is a member of the family Lissorchiidae.
