Abstract
⺠We study bird schistosomes developing in snails of the family Planorbidae. ⺠We perform molecular and morphological characterization. ⺠At least six species of bird schistosomes are found; five of them probably undescribed. ⺠Finding from Segmentina nitida is the first report on schistosome from this snail species.
