Abstract
⺠We observed that 5-epiicetexone has multiple effects on cell cycle of T. Cruzi. ⺠The compound affects the growth of the parasites from 10 hours after removal of HU. Apparently, the compound does not greatly affect the S phase of cell cycle. ⺠Furthermore, it appears that the compound slows the progression of cell division.
