Abstract
⺠We describe a new species Rodentolepis gnoskei from shrews in Malawi. ⺠Molecular phylogenetic analysis suggests polyphyly of Rodentolepis. ⺠R. gnoskei is phylogenetically closest to Rodentolepis fraterna from rodents. ⺠R. gnoskei n. sp. is only provisionally placed in Rodentolepis.
