Abstract
⺠The overall parasite prevalence (Haemoproteus, Leucocytozoon and Plasmodium) was 42%. ⺠14% of infected birds presented co-infections. ⺠Intrageneric co-infections were more frequent than intergeneric co-infections. ⺠Haemoproteus and Leucocytozoon presented specificity at the host family level.
