Abstract
⺠Latent toxoplasmosis is one of the most important risk factors for schizophrenia. ⺠Effects of Toxoplasma are mediated by increased dopamine and decreased tryptophan. ⺠Some of these effects are products of manipulation activity of Toxoplasma. ⺠Toxoplasmosis could be indirectly responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths.
