Abstract
Nano porous anodic aluminum (AAO) characteristics are qualified to have several applications in vital fields such as Medicine and agriculture. Characterization of nano porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) film over aluminum substrate was studied. Two steps anodization method was employed for building up of ordered nano porous film. Nano wires of metal was prepared by electrodeposition of two different types of nano metals e.g. nano tin and nano nickel. It was observed the deposition of higher metal content after second anodization more than first anodization. Corrosion rate of second anodized aluminum samples that filled by tin after electrolytic coloring step (0.162 mm/y) is lower than that of aluminum substrate (0.736 mm/y). The effect of nickel and tin was investigated by Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
