Abstract
⺠Characterization of a typical canine alphacoronavirus, CCoV-A76. ⺠CCoV-A76 is serologically distinct from other characterized CCoVs. ⺠The virus replicates well in canine cells but not in feline cells. ⺠CCoV-A76 can use canine Aminopeptidase N (cAPN) but not feline APN (fAPN) for entry. ⺠The virus' spike is a recombinant form between serotype I and II CCoV spikes.
