Abstract
⺠Response to IFN/Peg-IFN is HBV genotype dependent. ⺠IFN/Peg-IFN is more effective on HBV genotype A or B than on genotype C or D. ⺠HBV genotype I responds better to IFN/Peg-IFN than genotype C or D, but less than genotype A. ⺠Treatment regimens are suggested to be adapted to HBV genotype.
