Abstract
► NSP4 expression in transfected cells resulted in a remodeling of the microtubule (MT) network. ► MT network was dissolved from the center and reformed at the periphery of cells. ► Glycosylation of NSP4 was not required for changes in the MT network. ► NSP4 based remodeling of the MT network was dominant over the role of the centrosome. ► NSP4 remodeling of the MT network was not linked to cellular apoptosis or necrosis.
