Abstract
ⶠFecal samples and serum samples were collected from Chinese cats. TTV DNA was extracted from those samples and feline TTV was detected by nest PCR. ⶠTwo isolates were detected and the complete genomic sequences of two feline TTV clones SH-F1 and SH-F2 were obtained. Phylogenetic analysis showed that SH-F1 and SH-F2 shared 92-97% nucleotide homology with the strains Fc-TTV4 and PRA4. ⶠThis confirms that geographical variance does not exist among TTVs in infected cats.
