Abstract
⺠Wear mechanisms in erosive environment strongly depend on impact energy and angle. ⺠Critical impact energies and material fatigue crucially influence wear loss. ⺠State-of-the-arte empirical erosive wear models cannot deal with these phenomena. ⺠CFD-DEM approach shows promising results for prediction of high loaded areas.
