Abstract
⺠A FE dynamic model was used to study the slurry erosion in Ni-WC composite material. ⺠The model is verified by experiments that considers both Ni and WC separately. ⺠A correlation between erosion resistance and the volume fraction of WC in Ni was found. ⺠A soft interlayer provided more resistant to erosion in a multilayered Ni-WC deposit.
