Abstract
⺠A coupled model for gear dynamics considering the effect of the lubricant has been developed. ⺠Lubrication conditions have been described by Transient EHL. ⺠The entering/exit of contacting teeth has been modeled, as well as sudden stiffness variation in gear meshing.
