Abstract
⺠This research is a good example for disc-on-disc test configuration. ⺠Wear performances of plasma-nitrided and untreated H11 discs are compared. ⺠The disc surfaces and subsurface properties are characterised. ⺠The research deals with pre-heating and subsequent plasma nitriding strategies. ⺠This study presents visual findings based on plasma nitriding and metallography.
