Abstract
► We extend Navier slip model which has anisotropic slip lengths. ► The dominate flow with the effects of anisotropic slip lengths on load are discussed. ► The wall slip on the moving surface affects the load capacity more significantly. ► The contribution of Poiseuille and Couette flow on the load capacities are presented. ► The effect of wall slip on friction force and cavitation boundary is analyzed.
