Abstract
⺠The concept of selfâcirculation is viable and depends on the reservoir depth. ⺠Joint use of the 3D Navier-Stokes equation and Brinkman equation. ⺠The clearanceâporous matrixâreservoir assembly is treated as a continuum. ⺠Permeability controls pressure in the bearing clearance and reservoir. ⺠Permeability and porosity are both affecting fluid circulation and pressure.
