Abstract
⺠Exact analytical solution of the Reynolds equation for the finite journal bearing lubrication is given. ⺠Analytical expressions for the lubricant pressure distribution in a finite journal bearing are given in closed form. ⺠Lubricant pressure profile is defined analytically for the dynamic and the static problem.
