Abstract
⺠A special procedure is designed to observe the cross-sectional surface of the eroded composites. ⺠Both cutting and deformation mechanisms existed in the erosion of CF/PEEK composites.⺠Different damaging forms were involved depending on the impingement angles and the CF orientation. ⺠Increased eroded surface temperature was registered with increasing impingement angle.
