Abstract
⺠GLC coating exhibits different tribological properties against metals. ⺠The differences are highly dependent on adhesions and wear behaviors of the metals. ⺠GLC coating could show low friction and wear against GCr15 and Ti in air. ⺠GLC coating is more suitable to machine common metals in water.
