Abstract
⺠The development of a portable tribometer. ⺠First mobile device to measure skin friction with variable normal load and velocity. ⺠Pilot study measuring friction using stainless steel on the ventral forearm. ⺠Coefficients of friction are comparable to the results in the literature. ⺠The new tester is suitable to use for more extensive skin friction research.
