Abstract
⺠Several substrates and coatings were subjected to wear tests via slider type of test system. ⺠Matrix type tool steel substrates were found to be better performed. ⺠TD coating performed better compared to other coatings. ⺠Wear resistance tends to be elevated with increasing substrate hardness.
