Abstract
⺠The Reynolds equation considered for hydrodynamic lubrication of radial journal bearings. ⺠Hybrid numerical-analytical solution obtained through the Generalized Integral Transform Technique (GITT). ⺠Parametric analysis performed to investigate the influence of typical governing parameters. ⺠Extensive convergence behavior of numerical results produced to demonstrate ability of the solution methodology. ⺠Comparisons with results from literature demonstrated the consistency of final results for radial journal bearings problems.
