Abstract
⺠Silica nanoparticle is combined into PMMA and PS matrix to form a composite coating. ⺠PMMA/silica composite coating has significant improvement in wear resistance. ⺠Silica has less effect on improving the wear resistance of PS composite coating. ⺠Compatibility between silica and matrix affects the tribological properties.
