Abstract
⺠Fretting fatigue tests were performed on Inconel 690 specimens at room temperature and 320 °C. ⺠This study analyzed the change in characteristics related to the fatigue limit at 107 cycles. ⺠All tests were performed under a tensile stress ratio of R=0.1. ⺠The fatigue limit at 320 °C was reduced by about 20% due to fretting. ⺠The friction forces at 320 °C decreased due to the glaze oxides.
