Abstract
⺠38 vol% ceramics and 62 vol% Al-alloy composites as automotive brake rotor materials. ⺠The friction coefficient decreased within the range 40 - 160 N. ⺠The friction coefficient at 100 °C was superior to that at 250 °C. ⺠Wear increased at 100 °C but decreased at 250 °C. ⺠Friction fade took place at high temperatures.
