Abstract
⺠Molecularly thin films may be less compressible than their bulk counterparts. ⺠Compressibility of a fluid can depend on the molecular structure of the molecule. ⺠Molecular dynamics simulation can be used to predict bulk compressibility if the film thickness is sufficiently large relative to the fluid molecular size.
