Abstract
⺠New device for testing in three-body abrasion at elevated temperature used. ⺠Cermets with addition of tetragonal zirconia, WC-Co, Cr3C2-Ni and AISI 316 are tested. ⺠Zirconia addition increases the wear resistance of cermets up to 7 times. ⺠Wear mechanisms of cermets and steel evaluated.
