Abstract
⺠A new model is built to analyze the lubrication performance of piston skirt. ⺠The connecting rod inertia dramatically changes the transverse force on the piston. ⺠The connecting rod inertia exerts great influence on secondary motion of piston. ⺠Oil film distribution, pressure and friction are affected by connecting rod inertia.
