Abstract
⺠Micropolar and cavitating effects are studied in dynamically loaded journal bearing. ⺠Average inflow and outflow are almost equal under the improved cavitation algorithm. ⺠Reynolds boundary conditions result in large difference in inflow and outflow. ⺠Micropolar fluids lubrication enhances bearing load capacity.
