Abstract
This study aims to systematically review existing literature on the association between erectile dysfunction (ED) and bicycling. Furthermore, it wants to suggest preventive measures to minimize the risk of ED associated with bicycle riding. It was revealed that to date, no sufficient evidence exists to either attribute a simple causal relationship between bicycle riding and ED, nor to refute this relationship. There is need for further research to determine if bicycling is an independent risk factor for the development of ED.
